Training
Fred Granger Learning Center Status
The Education Committee, chaired by Joel Goldstein, is currently evaluating and selecting training to present in the Learning Center. Training flyers will be released as classes are scheduled. If you are a club member and have a short 2 to 4-hour class to present, or if you would like to join the committee, please contact Joel Goldstein at lhcameraclub@gmail.com.
Special Interest Workshops
These monthly workshops are scheduled on the second Tuesday afternoon each month in the Photo Facility Classroom. Event flyers will be created to publicize these monthly workshops.

Digital and Print Critiqiues
Digital Critiques are held five times each year and are an excellent opportunity for members to submit images and receive critiques by professional judges on how to improve our photographic and processing techniques.
Print Critiques are held four times each year and are an excellent opportunity for members to submit matted prints and receive critiques by professional judges on how to improve our photographic and printing techniques.
These critiques, open to all Camera Club members and non-member Laguna Woods Village residents, also provide excellent forums for members and non-members to learn from the judge’s comments.
Education Committee
This volunteer committee reviews and approves training curriculum, evaluates training presenters and schedules training classes and workshops. The committee operates under the guidance of and is appointed by the LH Camera Club Third Vice President. If you have experience in developing or presenting training classes, have already developed training classes that you would like to offer to club members or have developed a workshop of approximately one and one half to two hours that you would like to present at a Special Interest Workshop, please email lhcameraclub@gmail.com, Subject: Education Committee. Please also let us know if you would serve as a training assistant.
Multi-Subject Workshops
On the last Saturday of each month in Clubhouse 4, we are offering an open house where you can get assistance with your camera, use the studio to do portrait photography, photograph a still-life, or pursue other objectives. Come by and participate in this open-ended, hands-on learning opportunity. Learn by sharing questions and answers.
