Please
be aware that non-resident membership is contingent
upon the number of resident members. Since we are allowed only 10%
of membership to be non-residents, preference will be given to active
non-residents. For 2009 membership, "activeu
is defined as those who contribute to
the Camera Club through committee work, entering evaluations and
competitions, teaching, Sbowcase presentations, etc
(Enrollment in Emeritus classes, although encouraged, is not considered "active"
for Club membership definition.)
Non-residents,
even if not members, are most welcome to attend the Camera Club meetings.
However, it
was decided that because of required limits, the membership status should
be given first to those who are active. Non-Resident
Applicants will be notified of their membership status promptly after
December 31, the cut-off date tor
membership applications and renewals.
